How to choose your trip to Égypte?
Your choice mainly depends on your available time and your desire to combine regions. An 8 to 10-day itinerary allows you to cover Cairo, Luxor and Aswan with a 3 or 4-night Nile cruise—this is our most popular option. To go further and include Abu Simbel, the White Desert or a diving stay in the Red Sea, our 9 to 12-day trips offer comfortable pacing. Travelers wishing to add Sinai, Saint Catherine and an extension to Alexandria prefer our 13 to 17-day itineraries, which allow a more leisurely rhythm between each stop.
Different trip types
Our offering is built around four angles. Cultural trips focus on archaeological sites, museums, meetings with English-speaking Egyptologists and classic cruises. Adventure trips include camping in the White Desert, trekking Mount Sinai, 4x4 crossings to Siwa or diving at Marsa Alam. Family trips are designed with a pace suited to children, hotels with pools and fun activities on-site. What is the best season?
Peak season runs from October to April, with temperatures of 22 to 28°C in the Nile Valley and ideal dry weather for site visits. December and January experience the coolest nights—bring a fleece for the desert. March-April and October-November offer the best balance of crowds and weather. From May to September, temperatures in Luxor and Aswan frequently exceed 40°C, so we schedule visits early morning and late afternoon. The Red Sea can be enjoyed year-round.
