From Cairo to Alexandria: The Treasures of Northern Égypte
Duration
8 days
The spirit of travel
Spend 8 days discovering Cairo and Alexandria, two iconic cities that each tell several millennia of Egyptian history in their own way.
In Cairo, immerse yourself in ancient Egypt among pyramids, pharaonic ruins and exceptional archaeological collections. Through your visits, discover other facets of the capital, where Coptic and Islamic heritage sit alongside the vibrant contemporary Egypt.
The journey then takes you to Alexandria, facing the Mediterranean. Its maritime atmosphere, Greco-Roman heritage and monuments offer a striking contrast with the capital and provide insight into another period of the country's history.
An ideal cultural journey to take time exploring northern Égypte, between must-see sites, archaeological treasures and discovering two cities with profoundly different identities.
